Company Overview:
McGard's quality wheel locks and specialty security
products are recognized worldwide. In 1966, Lew McCauley
designed and patented a security nut to prevent theft of
automobile rims and tires. From that idea, L. D.

devices. Highly engineered specialty products are
manufactured to meet the needs of a broad range of customers,
all of whom are seeking a security solution for their
application. In addition to the McGard locks used
extensively in the marine and automotive industries, the
Special Products Division of McGard serves a wide cross
section of industry and public service entities.
Operating out of a 225,000 square foot facility in Orchard
